Robert from JuicedLink just made a brilliant and very informative film, how to get the best audio out of the BMC.
This is a MUST WATCH for every BMC shooter, since there are still some quirks.
Make sure you also visit and recheck the JuicedLink website , since Robert’s blog there gets updated frequently.
There is also a BMC specific portion on the site now, where you can get a cheeseplate and handle, made for the BMC, and other bits to rig your gear around the BMC.

I use a Audioroot Femto to preamp my mics, this is working very well, allthough it remains a fact that due to the lousy BMCC amplifiers, the headroom is very little.
